Doug Browning has dedicated his entire adult life to serving others. A graduate of Taylor University, Doug began his career as a youth pastor, leading and teaching students for over 25 years. In addition to his passion for serving others, Doug and his wife, Julie, developed an interest in remodeling old homes, starting with their first home in Michigan and later their first in Lafayette. In 2012, Doug's passion for helping people, combined with his love for remodeling, inspired him to pursue a career in real estate, leading him to create the Green Rock team.
Having been a part of the Lafayette community for over 16 years, Doug is committed to helping each client navigate one of the most significant financial decisions of their lives. He goes above and beyond to ensure his clients find the best home for their lifestyle and families. “We aim to create a win-win environment. We are always asking two questions: What is best for our client, and what is fair for everyone involved? Our goal is to understand our clients' desires and approach each situation with integrity. I want to help families find a home that truly fits them,” Doug explained. Having worked in a church setting and now raising four children here, Doug knows the community, its neighborhoods, and its schools well.
Doug believes no question is a dumb question. He understands that buying or selling a home can be a learning process, and he is committed to being there with answers, expertise, and support every step of the way. He also encourages people to choose a realtor they can trust. Doug said, “A buyer or seller wants to work with a realtor they can trust—someone who will work hard for them.
